Maybe C.J. Stroud should accept checks?Very soon, the Ohio State quarterback Kendall Fuller Jersey will probably be using Venmo a little more when he cashes his first-round check from an NFL team this April. Though, he should hope that those he's trading green with should be a bit kinder to him than others. In a recent interview with sports commentator Jim Rome, Stroud says that throughout 2022, fans reached out to him via the cash-share app, offering critiques and criticisms on his play (2:30 mark below):MORE: "I was getting DMs I don't have social media throughout the season I was getting DMs on Venmo, the money app, through fans telling me, 'play better Camaron Cheeseman Jersey ,'" Stroud said. "At the end of the day, it comes with the territory. It was insane."Through all the talk, Stroud played well in 2022 and positioned himself to hear his name called very early in the first round of the 2023 NFL Draft. He threw for 3,688 yards, 41 touchdowns and four interceptions in 2022, finishing third in the Heisman voting behind winner Caleb Williams and Alabama's Bryce Young. That said, Stroud already got a little taste of the, shall we say, side of football fans with the Venmo saga. Maybe he should switch to Cash App. Curtis Samuel Jersey
